Seb
Programme Director
Seb’s 20 plus years of experience of outdoor instructing has culminated in the creation of Skylark, where he is able to impart his knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to everyone he works with.
His goal for Skylark is to embed the outdoors into the national school curriculum.
Laurence
Head of Operations
Laurence has been working in the outdoor education sector for the past thirteen years. Over this time he has become an experienced outdoor practitioner in a wide variety of activities.
His main interest is white water kayaking, where he has travelled worldwide paddling on expeditions/trips. He joined Skylark Adventures in 2020, where the COVID pandemic led him to working in alternative provision.
Jamie
Jamie found his way into the outdoors through climbing, a sport he took up age 8 and hasn’t stopped since. He began working in the outdoors aged 18, working his way through 3 years at a centre before turning to work as a freelance instructor, which offered endless variety within the industry to upskill in the fields of mountaineering, paddlesports, mountain biking and coasteering, amongst others. After developing himself as an all round outdoor instructor, Jamie began his journey with Skylark.
His goal at Skylark is to support the young people we work with to each find their own purpose, and learn the skills of resilience and determination in order to pursue this.
